PLC has stopped running and two modes. In different ways of working, PLC different methods of operation for debugging.

1. Select the STOP operating mode
In the STOP (Stop) mode of operation, you can create and edit programs, PLC in a semi-idle state: Stop the user program execution; execute input refresh; user break condition is disabled. PLC operating system continues to monitor the PLC, the delivery status data to the STEP 7-Micro / WIN 32, and performs all the “mandatory” or “Cancel mandatory” command. When the PLC is located STOP (Stop) work can do the following:
1, showing a state or use the program to view the status of the current value of the operand. (Because the program is not implemented, this step is equivalent to the implementation of “Single Read”)

4, perform limited scans, and by a state diagram or program status observations.
2. Select the run mode of operation
When the PLC is located RUN (running) work, you can not use the “first scan” or “multi-scanning” function. You can be written in the state diagram and force values, or use the LAD or FBD program editor force values, methods and forced in STOP (stop) works in the same values. You can also do the following (can not be used in the STOP operating mode):
