1. Download
If you have successfully run the establishment of communication between STEP 7-Micro / WIN32 PC and PLC, you can download the compiled program to the PLC. If you already have content will be overwritten in the PLC. Download the following steps:(1) Before downloading, PLC must be in the “Stop” operating mode. Check the PLC work on the lights, if the PLC does not “stop”, click the toolbar “Stop” button, as for the PLC to stop mode.
(2) Click the toolbar “download” button, or use the menu command “File” → “download.” The “Download” dialog box.
(3) According to default download command is issued for the first time, “code block”, “block” and “CPU Configuration” (system block) check boxes are selected. If you do not need to download a block, you can clear the check box.
(4) Click “OK” to start the download process. If the download is successful, a confirmation box displays the following message: Download successful.
(5) If the STEP 7-Micro / WIN 32 CPU type does not match the actual PLC, the following warning message: “does not match the type of remote PLC PLC type selected items continue to download it.?”
(6) At this time should be corrected PLC Type options, select “No” to terminate the download process.
(7) with the menu command “PLC” → “Type” to bring up the “PLC Type” dialog box. Click the “Read PLC” button to automatically read the correct value from the STEP 7-Micro / WIN32. Click “OK” to confirm the type of PLC.
(8) Click the toolbar “download” button to restart the download, or use the menu command “File” → “download.”
After a successful download, click on the toolbar of the “Run” button, or “PLC” → “Run”, PLC enters RUN (running) work.
2. Upload
Use the following method from the PLC will be uploaded to the project element STEP 7-Micro / WIN 32 program editor:
² ² Click the “upload” button.² ² Select the menu command “File” → “Upload.”² ² shortcut key combination Ctrl + U.
