417-4 CPU applies to the highest performance requirements of the complex occasions, 417H CPU for S7-400H fault tolerant control PLC.
Through the 964DP IF interface sub module slot, 414-3 CPU and 416-3 CPU can be extended to a DP interface, 417-4 CPU can be extended to two DP interface.
414-3 PN/DP CPU and 416-3 PN/DP CPU has a MPI/DP interface, a DP interface, there is a PROFINET interface.
